John Lewis

John Lewis is a writer, curator, and co-founder of Choptank Arts & Culture Exchange, a nonprofit serving Dorchester and Talbot counties. The recipient of the Maryland State Arts Council’s Literary Arts Award in 2022, his writing has appeared in The Oxford American, Rolling Stone, and many other publications. Lewis is currently at work on a documentary film about Globe Poster and its iconic poster designs for the likes of James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Tupac Shakur.
