Eastern Shore Community Rowers was founded in 2016. Their membership includes adults of all experiences, from age 18 to 80+. The mission is to foster a stronger, healthier community and environment by educating and training individuals of all ages and abilities in the sport of rowing. Freedom Rowers helps youth become all they have the potential to be through the sport of rowing. They encourage young people to strive and succeed, by creating an environment in which they can challenge their own limits while appreciating the beauty of nature, the wind on their faces, the blisters on their hands, and the feeling of power that comes from rowing together as one. WHCP's Ben Brunner chats with Chloe Allen, who is deeply involved in the work of both organizations.
